Individual alarm system
A Personal Alarm System (PAS) is an ultrasonic emergency notification/communication system. When a person activates their Personal Alarm Transmitter (PAS), their location in the room is immediately determined. By integrating with the Security Management System, the location of the person in need can be graphically displayed on a map-type display in a central location.

How it works?
One or more receivers are installed in each room or corridor to be covered by the system. Once activated, the transmitter, which is placed near the person, continuously transmits an ultrasonic signal. The receivers shall only signal when they receive a transmission containing certain frequencies according to a certain pattern. This prevents false alarms from objects such as keys, metal objects and HVAC systems. The signal is bidirectional, thus eliminating the need to direct or steer the transmission.
